MakerFlow privacy policy

What MakerFlow does

MakerFlow is a Shopify app that shows a store's custom orders on a production board. It is used by the store's staff inside the Shopify admin; shoppers never interact with it.

Data we store

• Your store's domain, time zone, plan and MakerFlow settings.
• For each order: the order number, order date, ship-by date and the customer's name (only if Shopify has approved our access to it).
• For each line item: product title, variant, quantity, product image link, personalization text and links to customer files, as entered on the order.
• Staff names you add in Settings, and which card each person is making.

Data we never store

• Customer email addresses, phone numbers or postal addresses.
• Payment details.
• Copies of customer files: we keep the link only; files stay where they were uploaded.

How we use it

Only to show your board and, when all of an order's items are ready, to tag or fulfill that order in your store. We do not sell data, share it with advertisers or use it for any other purpose.

Where it is kept and for how long

Data is stored in an encrypted-at-rest PostgreSQL database and sent over HTTPS only. Orders are deleted 12 months after they are finished. When you uninstall MakerFlow, all of your store's data is deleted 48 hours later, when Shopify sends the shop data erasure request. A customer's name is removed as soon as Shopify sends their erasure request.

Your rights

Store owners and their customers can ask what we hold or ask for it to be deleted. Customers can also make these requests through the store, and Shopify forwards them to us. Contact: driftstudio39@gmail.com.
